Trending in Interiors: White Marble

White marble has to be one of the biggest trends this season. Throughout 2021, we have seen online searches soar. Marble has always been a luxury material, once the exclusive domain of the rich and royal. It has gradually become more mainstream, with many modern interiors boasting an opulent splash of marble here and there. We are all used to seeing marble on floors, high end kitchen worktops, glamorous bathrooms and luxury furniture.

Now, however, as well as its use in kitchens, bathrooms and high end furniture, this white marble trend has become an integral part of many luxurious interior designs. We are seeing fabulous feature walls using magnificent single slabs of the finest, richly veined and dramatic white marble. Installations using a series of eye-catching marble panels form a fabulous focal point. And if marble itself is not an option, there are some amazing faux marbles out there that look just like the real thing. You can even buy huge 1.2m white marble-effect porcelain tiles designed so that the pattern continues, allowing you to re-create the single slab look.

We absolutely love marble in all its shapes and forms. From a simple white Carrara marble to a rich brown Emperador or a sensational black Marquina marble. And our absolute favourite, a coveted white Calacatta Oro marble with its superb clarity and intricate grey and gold veining.
