Live, Interactive Lessons
Aimed at beginners and enthusiastic amateurs, our 5-week intensive online course gives you the skills and confidence to tackle interior design projects within your own home. As well as extensive online content, the course includes 10 live, interactive lessons with a qualified interior designer and interiors tutor. Live lessons take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 – 8 pm British Summer Time, giving you a total of 20 hours’ live tuition.
The step-by-step approach guides you through the fundamentals of the design process, from initial concepts to accurate scale drawings, space planning and finished design. You will also learn how to budget, appoint contractors and manage your own residential projects right through to final snagging. Working in a small, informal group gives everyone the chance to get to know one another, chat, ask questions, make suggestions and share ideas. Sessions are friendly and informative, with live demonstrations and plenty of help and expert advice along the way.
FREE Drawing Kit worth £120
To help you create accurate floor plans and elevations, mood and sample boards, you will receive a free drawing kit worth £120. It contains a professional drawing board with sliding ruler and set square, scale rule, paper, tracing paper, scalpel, tape and a set of professional drawing pens and pencil. Everything you need to tackle your first interior design. To make the course relevant to you, we ask everyone to design a room in their own home.
